Yes, it's me in the picture. What are you waiting for to tie me up and gag me?

Actually, he was forced to wear a red amulet around his neck that (somehow) concentrated red sun energy from a distant red star on him to remove his powers - even in daytime. I remember the story having read it when it came out, and even as a young teen thought that story made absolutely no g*d-d*amned sense. Very few DC comic stories did make sense back in those days, anyway.

Exactly ! Strongest guy in the universe and you restrain him with...ropes ?!
DC were in a bad phase until they rebooted Batman in the 80s, "year one" and all... Makes me think I got Alfred bound and gagged in "Shaman" somewhere... will scan it.

Older body for a change, but we stay in Batman universe. Quite an elaborated TUG scene stretching over four pages, so did my usual montage...
Alfred bound and gagged in "Shaman" - 1989/1990, legends of the dark knight, by O'Neil, Hannigan & Beatty. Nice scene from an excellent story, classic style drawings with strange colors ( suppose it's the christmas lightings... or guy was on lsd trip):

Not actually from comic books but I figured anime or animelike cartoons are close enough.

Jason Toddman "Les cités d'or", incredible to see that poping up here ! Left is Tao and right is dear old Esteban...
how's that called in english ?
An immensely popular cartoon with french guys my age... first version aired in the 80s, those are from a more recent reboot or sequel, I think... Bought the original one for my nephew and niece.
Maybe we should consider making a devoted topic for cartoons and animes, it's not as if we lack virtual space so we can afford to play scientific-like precision

In English it's called the mysterious Cities of Gold; which is pretty much a correct translation of the french as near as i can tell.LK3869 wrote: ↑6 years ago @Jason Toddman "Les cités d'or", incredible to see that poping up here ! Left is Tao and right is dear old Esteban...

Yes, this scene is from the long-delayed Season 2 from 2012, which is finally available in English if you know where to find it. There is also now a Season 3 from 2016, but though that one is (last i knew) available on Youtube, it is still available only in French. Season 1 is one of my favorite shows for a long time as well.
And yes I probably should have started this as a new topic. If i find more pics to post I will do so.
You're right Jason Toddman , correct french title is "les mystérieuses cités d'or"... For once, it's kind of longer in english
A very imaginative cartoon, seriously done and not taking its kid audience for dummies... Used to watch it when I was 8 or 10, was starting to feel something for Esteban. Sure thing is I felt nothing for the girl Zia who was quite attractive and felt less for Tao who was somewhat less good looking than Esteban... Early signs of both sexual orientation and futility
Nice you posted that...
And about a dedicated thread, I thought of it 'cause I know some guys have huge pics collections... We could even afford having animés and " occidental cartoons" specialised topics... " Build it and they will come "

Well, coloring books are close to comic books, so . . . . .

didn't see your post on the topic, or I would have encouraged you to post more in the art section...

Please gendertag this thread, it's not to much to ask, is it?

Don't mean to contradict the staff, but I don't really see how gender-tagging this thread would be possible.
We have both genders, every gender roll and pretty much every age group on the pictures in this thread.
To me, this is just a general assembly of Comic Book TUGs, suitable and no doubt of interest to both genders.
Yes, my apologies, Druidofthewilds, but that was my reasoning. I wasn't sure how I could tag it, given how the thread has and could have any and all possible combinations. If there's a specific way to tag that, please let me know and I'll edit that tag into the thread title!bondagefreak wrote: ↑6 years agoDon't mean to contradict the staff, but I don't really see how gender-tagging this thread would be possible.

I know, but it is in the rules to gender tag, besides it let's people know various genders are included here.bondagefreak wrote: ↑6 years agoDon't mean to contradict the staff, but I don't really see how gender-tagging this thread would be possible.

How about using the word 'various' as a tag?.Druidofthewilds wrote: ↑6 years agoI know, but it is in the rules to gender tag, besides it let's people know various genders are included here.bondagefreak wrote: ↑6 years agoDon't mean to contradict the staff, but I don't really see how gender-tagging this thread would be possible.

Also too, as this is NOT a story thread, it seems to me that tags are not necessary here - and that Druidofthewilds is a killjoy!
