Some background on my characters:

Allen Bradford: 14 years old. Tall and slim. Very good at escaping, but doesn't flaunt it. Best friends with Bill Berville, a kid in another scout troop.

Scott Bradford: 13 years old. Allen's little brother. Good at escaping from being tied, but not as good as Allen. Best friends with Doug Atwood.

Charlie Bradford: 14 years old. Cousin of Allen and Scott. Living with them because father took an overseas job where dependent schools were not available. Doesn't particularly like being tied up, but does like to tie and gag his cousins and their friends.

Doug Atwood: 13 years old. Like Allen, tall and slim. Good at escaping and likes to show it off. When arrived at his new neighborhood, introduced "not really tied up unless you're gagged" rule. Best friends with Scott Bradford. Biggest weasel in the scout troop. Also introduced square scout neckerchiefs from his uncle, as gags.

Tommy and Bobby Myers: 10 year old identical twin cub scouts. Troop mascots for Doug's boy scout troop. Both like being tied up since they learned about getting back to back and helping each other get loose. Like having Doug and Scott "babysit" with them when their parents are out, and when they have back yard campouts with their cub scout friends.

Ronnie Bell: Almost 14. Best friend of Charlie Bradford. Like Charlie, tells everyone he doesn't like being tied. but often lets his little brother, Mark tie him up, especially when Mark has a friend or two sleep over.

Mark Bell: 11 years old. Best friend of Kevin Foster. Not very good at tying or escaping, but loves to tie and gag his big brother.

(Little) Kevin Foster: 11 years old. Nicknamed "little" to differentiate him from 16 year old "Big" Kevin. 1/32nd Cheyenne Indian. Learned to tie and gag captives from his cousins and their friends in Wyoming, Very good at it. Best friends with Mark Bell. Taking "weasel lessons" from Doug. Likes sleepovers, back yard campouts, and tying up his older friends in their (or borrowed) pajamas.

(Red) Jeff Jenks: 12 years old. Nicknamed for his red hair. Not very good at tying or escaping, but likes the tie and gag games with his boy and cub scout friends. Best friends with "Big" Chris Richards.

(Big) Chris Richards: 12 years old. So nicknamed to differentiate him from "Little" Chris Berville. Younger than Little Chris. Not good at tying or escaping, but liked the games, especially whwen he got to tie up his friends.

Bill Berville: 14 years old. Allen Bradford's best friend. Belongs to a different scout troop. Likes tying Allen and other members of Allen's scout troop. Almost as good as Allen at escaping. Lets his younger brother tie him up so he can practice escapes, and so his little brother can practice tying up captives.

(Little) Chris Berville: 13 years old. Bill Berville's little brother. Hates being called "Little" although a year older than "Big Chris." Unofficial "leader" of the "Ten Year Old Terrors," as he is just slightly bigger than most of them. Loves practicing tie ups on his older brother and his friends.

Wayne Sommers: 15 years old. Seldom plays tie up games since discovering girls, but is still the best in the scout troop at escaping from being tied, and the second best at tying captives behind (Big) Kevin Campbell.

(Big) Kevin Campbell: 16 years old. Doesn't play tie up games very much. Too busy chasing after Andrea Lockwood, one of the Lockwood twins. When he does play, he is the best at tying up prisoners. Even Allen and Bill, the two best at escaping, have trouble getting free if tied up by Big Kevin.

Mike Hayworth: 14 years old. A friendly enemy from a rival Scout troop. Often engages in tie up games and challenges with the boys in Allen's scout troop. Best friends with Mike Houghton. Likes being tied with his best friend, and tying up Charlie. Rich kid. Lives in the biggest house in the neighborhood, and his bedroom is big enough to host as many as 15 boys sleeping over,

Mike and Jimmy Houghton: 14 and 12 years old. "Frenemies" from Mike Hayworth's troop. Both secretly like being tied up in pajamas, and sometimes let themselves be captured by Little Kevin, who likes to make his captives wear pajamas before tying them up.
