better interaction system suggestion

is there any system that help to interact with certain like minded tug members that isn't a pain for mods? (which i understand web design was hard for me in college)
for example i like soft bondage and i don't expect people to the like the same thing. maybe tag the word "soft bondage" and it shows certain users that may or may not like fit to the tugers liking? or cross referencing system? i know it sounds dumb.
the main reason for this is im losing my spirit and heart in this site and im trying to find a solution to make any mark in this forum community.
