I'm not sure if I have any slight preference to subbing or domming yet. It's hard to tell when I haven't participated in live bondage in some time. (had some tug experiences probably as early as 3rd/4th grade when I found out I liked the stuff but haven't explored it in person since then unfortunately)
I also don't know what triggers my state of mind of being dom or sub. I suspect it's quite mood dependent but external factors and pressures are definitely a big part of it. They feel like different aspects of my personality and I kinda bounce back and forth. I wonder when I find people to play with what I might discover. Will I want to only dom some and only sub with others? Is it as simple as a choice to tie or let myself be tied? No idea but I can't wait to find out.

Male switch. I prefer to tie-up women and get tied up by men, but I'm more than okay with the reverse as well. Haven't yet been (seriously) tied up by a man, but I haven't been able to fulfill my sub side getting tied up by women.

Probably a male dom, but because I haven't had the chance to fully explore my tastes, I can't say for certain. I also enjoy a bit of self bondage, so possibly a switch lean dom.

Just realised - I haven’t posted here - I would say 90% Dom 10% switch - if my partner wants to tie me up, I’m happy to be bound but prefer the majority of time to do the tying.
However, sometimes the mood takes me and I really want to be tied up and really tight - total overkill with the ropes/ straps etc...
