What would you do?

In our stories in the fiction section, AlexUSA3 and I have Paul staked out on the back lawn or tied to a tree. If you were a burglar coming to burgle the house and you find Paul in either of those positions, would he frighten you off or not?

My story was 10 years ago and Paul was 10.

In Alex's story, he's 20, as he is now.

It wouldn´t scare me off, but I would probably be a little careless when breaking in. Making some unnecessary noise and things like that. Not that I would want to be captured and tied up, no not me ...
