Gad damn, I love this story. I really hope Jamis learns the language more. I assume the "English" they are speaking is actually Jamis's interpretation of what they are saying based on his prior knowledge of their language, thus the less familiar words being unintelligible.

Yessssss! Historical fiction! I am so excited for this!

Not only are your descriptions effective and telling, but you have such a great pace to the way you write which pulls the highs and lows to keep the reader engaged. These last few chapters have been very cute, I found myself audibly "aww"ing when Mitch spoke to Ethan.

As fun as it can be to be all hot and teasy, I really liked this chapter because of the professionalism. Ethan was in real danger of getting hypothermia, his body dropping a Celsius degrees is real bad. I'm happy they treated it so seriously.
