I do like those kinds of scenes, because it has to be extremely frustrating for the captive to be so close to being freed, except it doesn't happen. There should be lots of frantic struggling to find some way, any way, to get the would-be rescuer's attention.

I'm having a problem with getting logged out automatically by the site. It took me 4 attempts to post the last one before this because I kept getting logged out in the middle of trying to post it. I had the same issues in the last few months of the old site, too, so I'm guessing it's a phpbb issue.

It was a part of the adventure in many stories, for the hero/heroine to get caught by the villains and tied up to try to stop them from interfering in the plans any longer.
