For the readers, just an argument for Ryan's socks: It's not just hot, but it's also much more personal than something of Corey's as it's his own stepbrother that he both finds attractive and is having a conflict with. Just my two cents tho

You can really tell how terrified Jake (and later Nick) are in this situation, and Kevin's characterisation, along with the descriptions of his socks, pits, and jockstrap just make this so much better.
