Fetish is a little strong, but it does seem like a good start to a scene, depending on circumstances. Hands on top of head works, too.

I think about it almost daily, but a serious desire to tie up or be tied probably happens about once or twice a week.

Some things need to remain fantasies. Others can be simulated, like someone just making you feel alone by being quiet and not remaining in view. I would definitely not recommend being left alone while tied up.

It does depend on the scenario, but I personally like if the person has already been tied up, and is getting mouthy, and gets gagged to shut them up then. Gagging first does work best in a kidnapping scene.

This is definitely going to turn more into people complaining a scene just didn't go quite far enough to indulge their fantasies than it will have anything to do with a poor scene, like terrible tying or a gag that someone could spit out.

I haven't actually done it, but I like the idea of forcing someone to either watch or listen to something they hate, like terrible music. Make them squirm trying to get free to turn it off.
