What horrible thing would you do to the people you tied up? I would make them wear socks stuffed with honey, jello, chocolate syrup, strawberry sauce, etc... trust me this becomes uncomfortable quickly.

I think the person being tied should be honest. If the rope too tight, if the scene needs to end, if they have difficult breathing, open and honest communication is a must
