I am thinking of doing some writing to share with the group, but i think a lot of my writing will be stories that are based on something that happened, but embellished for my own and others enjoyment.
So essentially they are not "true" but they are not "fiction" either. I have seen some posts around the whole true/fiction debate, so in my case which area would it be best to post in?
Based on a true story

I would say fiction. It's not unheard of for works of fiction to have parts that are based on real events that are either embellished or altered in some way. Real life can provide a suprising amount of inspiration. That's just my two cents though, the mods will have the final say.
Just your average crossdressing damsel in distress...

Hello boundto ! Always great to hear from and read stories of new contributors! I'd say, if in doubt, put it in the fictional section, or just ask the mods.
Regardless of where you put it, have fun!

As any journalist would tell you: never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Personally, I take all "true" stories with a pinch of salt but, unless it is causing outrage, I let it pass by me.
